Good foods in Sendai Japan

Sendai is one of my favorite city while visited Japan, it's a big city but not so crowded like you will find in Tokyo and believe me there are many good foods here with nice value and great atmosphere.
As a capital city of Miyagi prefecture, Sendai have a lot of entertainment venues, five years ago when I live in Japan (Tokyo) I visited this city very often  just to have a good foods and hangout with my friends, to get here from Tokyo mostly we use Sinkansen wich mean fast train, expensive but fast, I think there are several cheapest ways to get here from Tokyo, we just looking for the easy and fast way,..

In Miyagi prefecture we can find a lot of tourism object from beach to mountain, from night life to sacred temple, it's depend on your interest., Me?,.. I'm coming for a good foods and beverages lol,.

A few years ago earthquake and tsunami in Miyagi was striking this area, the tsunami devastated the city's coastal outskirts but did not cause major damage in the city center. Virtually all tourist spots reopened within a few months of the earthquake. I was visited Sendai in April 2011, after the earthquake happened in March 2011, I saw the desperation of some of the families who lost family members over the disaster. But on my last visit last month, the city are back to normal even more better.

Warung biah biah | Simply balinese style

Last visited to warung biah biah at June 10, 2012, located at Jalan goutama, Ubud, Gianyar - Bali.
The street where this warung nestled were remind me of the same street in Kuta (it's call poopies street), or in Jakarta there is a same character of a little street call Jalan Jaksa. the point is, it's a small street with a lot of tourism activities, like culinary, spa, guest house, etc..

Warung biah biah is popular of it's Balinese food, which is presented simple and delicious. actually you can easily eat Balinese food in Ubud, but what make this warung special??
Yeah, the warung always present hygienic foods, which is sometime hardly found in usual local warung lately. and the price for each foods are not different with the local warung.

FUZION CAFE, Cozy and delicious restaurant in Ubud

This cafe have a good concept of simple traditional and modern Indonesia that you can see in the decor and menu,. It's located in the main street of Lungsiakan street, a little bit far away from Ubud center, it will take 30 - 40 minutes walking or a few minutes by motorbike or car. But once you go there you will feel the peace of Ubud, the cafe is quiet, with nice strains of music, comfortable seats, friendly staffs and surely a good foods.

This cafe is like all in package that you can get in Ubud, they have various menu arranged by the owner him self that have a background in culinary business for 7 years in various countries (I've talk with the owner on my last visit, such a nice funny guy^^/). I tried almost all the menu here., salad, Indonesian, pizza, pasta, steak etc,.. My favorite is the steak, they use a good quality of meat local and imported, the local meat are ordered from Java and dry aged for 30 days. For this quality of meats I just spent 135,000rp (incl tax) for 250gr of tenderloin with selectable side dish and sauce, it's not even $15 what a winner. As a foods lover my instinct always hunt for a good foods wherever I am and it's a very good to find this gem, as we know the restaurant in Ubud is become more and more overpriced (touristy) or even more, there are a lot new overpriced restaurant with quality bellow standard., but here, is where I can enjoy a good foods with fair price and good service.

Cafe Fiore Cita | Italian restaurant in Ubud, Bali

Cafe Fiore Cita, Providing various Italian cuisine such as : Pizza, Pasta, Risotto, and other Italian cuisine that would be your recommendation while you visiting Ubud.
The cafe also providing imported Italian grand coffee and various fresh juices, located on the main street of Jalan Raya Sanggigan which has been the center of  culinary area in Ubud. Last visited on December 25, 2011, the cafe were quite cozy with minimalist open air garden design and one big indoor room, combined with the shop which selling a various Kimono and accessories that imported from Japan.
The staffs were friendly and the food was goooooddd!!.. It's a little bit different with other Italian cuisine that you can enjoy in Bali, I mean like the Pizza crust, it was very good, it's a little bit tough inside but crispy outside, topped with soft melting mozzarella cheese and other protein stuff that very match with the crust.

Taco Casa 'n Grill | Mexican Restaurant in Ubud Bali

Located at Pengosekan street, Ubud - Bali, open for lunch and dinner from 11 am - 10 pm, Not like the generally restaurant, Taco Casa have a unique design, with the kitchen located in the main room of the restaurant, so the visitors can see the process of making the food directly. This restaurant serves a variety of Mexican cuisine that has its own characteristics in the presentation, the first visit I was very satisfied, welcomed very friendly by the staff and presentation of the foods are very beautiful and delicious. I ordered three kind of cuisine which are their recommendation menu for dinner. Soft Tacos with Beef, 8-Layer Burrito with Beef, and Fajitas With Beef. Beef are my own selection otherwise they provide Veggie, Chicken, Beef, and Shrimp.

Pizza Bagus | Popular Italian Restaurant in Ubud, Bali

One of my favorite restaurant in Ubud, If you decide to go for Italian food in Ubud, Pizza Bagus is just the right choice ! A perfect family place and probably the only real Italian restaurant in Ubud where you can find a large choice of kids food. located not too far from the center of Ubud in the Pengosekan area, the restaurant is also provide delivery service free charge for Ubud area, so you can just call this restaurant and ask them to deliver a delicious pizza to your place.
Last time I visited this restaurant I ordered two kind of pizzas, which are my favorite Pizza in this restaurant. it was "Pizza Sole" and "Pizza Salami and Peperoni" with Bintang beer ( my compulsory orders ^^ ) . I also took a few pictures of the restaurant and foods, so it could be your recommendation while you visit Ubud.

Warung Pulau Kelapa | Cheap and unique Indonesian restaurant In Ubud

Warung Pualu kelapa is the new restaurant in Ubud, Bali. The restaurant is designed with Traditional Javanese style with the texture of old javanese carving around the walls. This restaurant is very unique and antique, I visited this restaurant last night, and quite surprise with the decoration that they made inside the restaurant, They use pure Javanese traditional furniture with classic photos as wall decoration around the wooden walls and a few wooden statues standing in the front of the entrance. Nasi campur Bali ( Balinese mixed rice )

Nasi campur is a blend of various cuisines of Bali such as lawar, fried pork, chicken, and jukut arrest. Jukut arrest is the most popular Balinese cuisine and usually served in Balinese thanksgiving, but now we can enjoy it in balinese restaurant. Jukut arrest was made of young bananas trees mixed with pork and typical full Balinese spices, thinly sliced a banana tree trunk, then cook it with Balinese spices.

Lawar is a kind of side dishes are made from a mixture of meat or fish with vegetables and seasonings, starfruit leaves, young papaya fruit, or even young jackfruit. To make lawar, vegetables are chopped, then given a mixture of herbs and spices, to add flavor and taste, lawar added with minced meat. Meat only as a complement, Balinese local peoples usually mix lawar with blood to make a red lawar. Usually lawar has a spicy flavor, but which are sold at the restaurant for tourists is usually not very spicy and not use the blood.

Bali Black canyon Coffee

Located at Jl.Kartika Plaza inside the Discovery shopping center at Kuta, Black canyon coffee has a very good spot to enjoying afternoon or evening sunset. Places near the Kuta beach with ocean view, make this cafe is very popular in Kuta, i went at afternoon around 15:00, actually this is one of my favorite cafe to visit in Bali, because i went in a very good weather or maybe is to good and very hot, I was ordered a glass of frozen orange and my mate was ordered a glass of frozen lemon, it's very nice enjoy the frozen drink in a hot moment near the beach.

Because located at inside the shopping center, this cafe is very active in the afternoon and evening, so for you who want to enjoy the tropical sun shine near the beach with a glass of cool drink after shopping, you can try to visit Black canyon coffee Kuta inside the Discovery shopping center.
